Organisers have announced a new football initiative to further engage youths in Igbogbo area of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.
The initiative tagged, “HOA Street Legend 2026”, is a 3-Aside Street Soccer that would involve 32 teams, which would be hosted between Sunday, 24th May and Tuesday, 26th May 2026.
Popular Olayinka Street which was fully rehabilitated recently with streetlights will hold the soccer fiesta which has been described as the biggest street soccer ever in Igbogbo.

”Get ready for the biggest street football showdown Igbogbo has ever witnessed.
From Sunday, 24th May to Tuesday, 26th May 2026, the atmosphere at Olayinka Street will erupt with raw passion, skill, energy, and fierce competition as HOA Street Legend 2026 takes over the streets with a thrilling 3-Aside Knockout Tournament built for the fearless.
A total of 32 teams will battle for supremacy in a tournament designed to celebrate youth talent, street culture, unity, and community spirit under the leadership of Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun,” organisers said in a statement.

Entry fee for the tournament which is only open for only 32 teams is ₦20,000 per team and it is on the basis of first come, first serve.
